Smithsonite Crystals from Arkansas USA

This gorgeous specimen features orangey yellow, botryoidal smithsonite crystals on matrix. It is from the Monte Christo Mine, Rush, Marion County, Arkansas, USA. The area has been closed to public collection since the 1970s, and this old stock piece appears to have been originally purchased in the 1980s.

It will come as pictured in a perky box. From the previous collection of George Reimherr. The original collection notes are attached to the bottom of the box. The first photo was taken under 20x magnification.
