Quartz cluster with golden rutile and a thick opal coating from Novo Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil. In the quartz you will see a complete 6 point rutile star with the hematite center but also the needles all throughout the specimen. What also makes this specimen special is the association with opal. If you look closely you'll see a thin layer formed over the golden needles of rutile. Such a great aesthetic piece.
