Fiery Rough Opal from Ethiopia

This rough opal specimen is loaded with rainbow flashes over a white to cream-colored background. It is from Welo, Ethiopia.

It measures approximately 26 x 17 x 16mm and weighs approximately 20.5 carats. Please see photos for details even though, like with most opals, they will never quite do them justice! The first two images were taken undoors under artificial light, while the remaining pictures were taken outdoors.
