Fiery Rough Opal from Ethiopia

This rough opal specimen is loaded with rainbow flashes over a transparent milky background. It is from Welo, Ethiopia.

It measures approximately 23 x 13 x 11mm and weighs approximately 12.5 carats. Please see photos for details even though, like with most opals, they will never quite do them justice!
