Calcite with red hematite on galena from Piedras Verdes mine, Alamos Municipality, Sonora, Mexico. There are calcite crystals all over the specimen. Under UV the calcite glows a bright pink. Galena is a heavy material so use the measurements for the best size reference. The pictures were taken outdoors in natural lighting under both direct sun and shade.
